With what you ask?
The recall election on June 5th of Scott Walker and Rebbecca Kleefisch that is going to cost the taxpayers of Wisconsin OVER 9 million dollars. State Democratic Party Chairman Mike Tate portrayed the recall costs as the “best down payment” people can make for Wisconsin’s future.
For what?
Because for once in over 8 years we have not had a Governor that has sold his soul to the public sector unions.
The Barrett camp and his Union Backers are telling us that Walker has sold out to BIG business (you know the ones that WILL create new jobs) instead of giving more to our Local Teachers Unions and the rest of the Public Sector Unions. Wait, didn’t Tom Barrett say that “Walker didn’t take Act 10 far enough to include Fire and Police Unions”. Nah that must just be another lie from Satan himself.
Tom Barrett is now even promising that he will pull families together unlike Scott Walker who has turned family members against one another. So wait, if Tom Barrett becomes Governor, he is going to do what now to change how right leaning family members feel and how left family members feel. I know, he can keep the taxes down for the right leaning members of the family and raise the taxes for the left leaning members even higher. That will make everyone happy!
I am not saying that Governor Walker brought some of this animosity on himself as he chose an in-your-face style from the start. But then again everyone forgets how Jim Doyle had the same attitude as he screwed the residents of Wisconsin when he was in power That was OK and we were suppose to get over it, because after all the majority of Wisconsin had voted for Doyle and the Democratic Majority. Walker like other Republicans, did not have hissy fits over all of Diamond Jim’s short comings, instead waited for the next election to remove the Democratic party from power in the State of Wisconsin. They did not run to Illinois like our 14 Democratic Senators did.
Walker has some issues to contend with too, some of the people in his employ got over zealous and made bad decisions that were not legal. Those people will pay for their actions. So if we wanted to bring up the indiscretions of some of the Doyle employees like Georgia L. Thompson who was convicted of federal corruption charges in 2006 and later released. I just am not to mention his Attorney General Peg (one more for the ditch) Lautenschlager who in February 2004, made national headlines after pleading guilty to drunk driving in Dodge County.
Lastly we need to totally ignore that in September 2010, Doyle was one of seven governors to receive a grade of F in the fiscal-policy report card of the Cato Institute.
I am just going to have to go along with the Milwaukee Journal – Sentinel when they say in Sunday May 20th editorial section, ”We recommend Walker; his removal isn’t justified“
Just expect more CRAP hit your TV screen in the next couple of weeks.
